The Network seeks to accomplish a number of Objectives!
First, we seek to mobilize sustained scholarly interest and focus on the nexus and benefits of the interrelationship between the humanities and environment.
Second, the network aims to build and sustain a community of scholars who would engage in the academic enterprise of exploring the historical nexus between environment and society.
Third, in order to underline the academic and political relevence of environmental humanities, and attract younger scholars, as well as older ones, we shall engage in the dissemination of relevant news items.
